Find a used two-way radio for an existing fleet or a new team. Start with the exact model, frequency band and operating mode, then compare the condition and complete kit in your quotation. Second-hand and pre-owned describe the same broad buying choice here; refurbishment is a separate condition stated for the individual offer.
Choose the right radio for the job
For a screen-free licence-free example, compare the used Motorola XT420 PMR446 with the exact channel setup you need.
| Model | Radio type | Start here |
|---|---|---|
| Motorola GP340 | 16-channel analogue handheld; separate VHF and UHF versions. | Match the exact band and programmed channels of your existing fleet. Used Motorola radios. |
| Hytera PD785 | Colour display and full keyboard; analogue and DMR capability, subject to the exact configuration. | Match the band, mode and system configuration. Used Hytera radios. |
| Icom IC-F29SR | Analogue PMR446 handheld. | Keep the exact SR model separate from other Icom families. Used Icom radios. |
| Kenwood TK-3501T | 16-channel analogue PMR446 handheld. | Check the regional suffix and matching battery and charger. Used Kenwood radios. |
| Entel HX482 | UHF analogue land-radio handheld. | Match the exact model and licensed fleet configuration. Used Entel radios. |
For local direct communication with genuine licence-exempt equipment, compare used PMR446 walkie talkies. A licensed business radio does not become licence-free simply by selecting a PMR446 frequency. DMR, dPMR and NXDN are different digital protocols; a digital label alone does not establish fleet compatibility.
Compare condition and complete kit
A condition label does not describe every part in the box. Read the stated cosmetic condition, battery details and included accessories. Refurbished equipment should identify the work carried out; ex-demo and ex-display describe different histories. Manufacturer stock images illustrate the model and may differ from the individual used equipment.
Compare body-only offers with the cost of a working setup: radio, battery, charger, power supply, antenna, belt clip and any audio accessories. A charger shown in an illustration is included only when the offer says so. Our condition guide and battery and kit guide explain what to compare.
Buy through a written quotation
Tell us your model, quantity, existing fleet, required condition, kit and destination through our contact page. Any programming or licence-help selection records your requirement; the scope and cost of any agreed work will be confirmed in the written quotation. You can also request equipment for programming by your own authorised team.
Payment is by BACS after you accept the written quotation. Warranty terms will be confirmed in your written quotation. International enquiries are assessed individually for equipment suitability, regulatory requirements and delivery arrangements.
Read the used-radio buying checklist, fleet compatibility guidance and how buying by quote works. If you have surplus equipment, send us details of the radios you want to sell.
