Buying Used Two-Way Radios by Quote

Used-radio offers are handled by enquiry and an itemised quote. There is no online checkout for this route.

How the quote route works

  1. Send an enquiry. Tell us the model or part number, quantity, band or frequency, analogue or digital requirement, intended use or fleet, accessories required and delivery location.
  2. Review an itemised quote. The quote identifies the equipment offered, its condition label, what is included or separate, and the applicable commercial terms.
  3. Accept the agreed offer. After acceptance, payment instructions for bank transfer/BACS are provided through the normal sales process.
  4. Agree fulfilment details. Delivery or other fulfilment terms are those stated in the quote. International enquiries are assessed individually.

Warranty terms will be confirmed in your written quotation.

Licence-free, licensed and digital requirements

If you need genuine UK PMR446, say so explicitly and identify the exact compliant model and mode. A PMR446 requirement is not the same as a licensed-radio requirement.

Choose the requirement that applies

  • No programming requested: quote the exact model, band, mode and supplied kit; do not assume a configuration change.
  • Existing licensed fleet: provide the exact authorised band, mode, protocol and fleet requirements privately.
  • Licence already held: identify the equipment and licence conditions that the buyer will use.
  • New licence or unsure: say so in the enquiry so the requirement can be recorded and clarified; no automatic licence application is promised.

For licensed equipment, the buyer handles its own licence and lawful radio setup. Tell us the exact model, band, mode and protocol. If any agreed programming or licensing work is available for the specific offer, its scope and cost will be stated in the written quote; otherwise the buyer handles its own programming. Start with the model, quantity and intended use. Licence documents or detailed channel plans can be discussed separately if needed.
