The lowest used-radio price is not always the lowest working-kit cost. Compare the exact radio, battery, charger, power arrangement and accessories rather than treating a product photograph as a packing list.

Separate radio, power and deployment costs

What to check in a used-radio kit
Part of the quoteBuyer question
RadioWhat exact model, suffix, band and mode is supplied?
Battery and chargerWhich battery part, charger and power arrangement are included, and in what quantity?
Deployment partsAre antenna, belt clip, earpiece or speaker microphone included, or separate?

An original product runtime is not a used-battery guarantee. Ask for the battery part and the condition stated for the individual offer; no capacity test should be assumed. Body-only stock can suit a fleet with matching spares. A complete kit can be better for a new team only when every line is itemised.

Kenwood TK-3501 charging choices

The Kenwood TK-3501 specification identifies KNB-63L and KNB-65L battery options, KSC-35S rapid charging and KSC-356 six-unit charging. Those parts are compatible reference points for that model family, not proof that a used listing includes them. Ask whether the quotation is body-only, battery-only or a complete set.

For GP340, PD785, IC-F29SR and HX482, request the exact battery and charger parts against the radio label and regional variant. Do not infer fit from a shared connector, family name or a different model's kit.

Compare the quote lines

  • Body only: useful when your fleet already has the exact charging and accessory system.
  • Radio plus battery: check whether a charger, antenna or belt clip is still needed.
  • Complete kit: request itemised radios, batteries, chargers, power supplies and accessories.

Send the required condition, kit, quantity and destination. Ask for the VAT treatment to be stated in your quotation. Payment is by BACS after a written quotation; there is no online checkout for these used offers. Warranty terms will be confirmed in your written quotation. International enquiries are assessed individually.
