The HX446E is Entel’s non-display analogue PMR446 handset in the HX family. Its compact body and locking audio connector suit a team using compatible HX accessories and analogue PMR446 channels.

HX446E is separate from the larger HT446E, the LCD HX446L and the digital DX family. IP55 is the historic HX model rating; it does not describe the condition of a particular used unit or confer HT-series submersion performance.

Match the original analogue PMR446 frequency and tone settings before adding it to a fleet. Compliant UK PMR446 use needs no individual Ofcom licence.
Battery, charging and accessories
The Entel HX446E handbook lists CNB450E batteries and CSAHX/CSBHX charging. An HT battery or charger must not be assumed interchangeable. The quoted kit will state the exact genuine or compatible parts and their condition.
