What's in the Box

Your written quotation will itemise the radio, battery, antenna, charging equipment and carry accessories included in the offer. Only the listed items are supplied.

No online payment is taken

The original IC-F29SR is a compact analogue PMR446 radio for teams that want physical controls and simple push-to-talk operation. Its eight RF channels are distinct from the sixteen positions on the rotary selector. This used offer is not the later IC-F29SR2 or a digital IC-F29DR.

Where this model fits

It suits an analogue PMR446 fleet where users need a straightforward handset for everyday team calls. Compare the Kenwood TK-3501T for another analogue PMR446 option. Match the RF channel and tone settings across brands rather than relying on the number printed beside the selector.

Match the radio to the fleet

Genuine, compliant PMR446 equipment can be used licence-free in the UK. This does not turn an arbitrary licensed UHF radio into a PMR446 handset. The IC-F29SR uses analogue voice, not dPMR, DMR or NXDN. CTCSS or DTCS settings must agree with the receiving fleet; these tones do not provide private radio spectrum.

Batteries, charging and accessories

The manufacturer leaflet identifies BP-278 and BP-279 batteries and the BC-213 charging system. Request the required battery and charging arrangement with the radio. A used offer does not automatically inherit the original new-box battery, charger, plug or belt clip.

Licence and programming requirements

This PMR446 offer has no paid Ofcom-licence selection. Tell us the existing radio models and channel/tone settings you want to match. Any optional setup work is separate and must be included in the written quote.

Condition, warranty and quotation

Condition: Used. Refurbishment, cosmetic grade, battery condition and included equipment are separate offer details. Warranty terms will be confirmed in your written quotation.

Request the quantity and equipment combination you need. The written quotation will identify condition, included parts, price, delivery and any agreed setup work. Payment is by bank transfer/BACS after the quotation is agreed; this page does not take an online payment.
