A straightforward way to add a licensed DMR or analogue handset to a fleet that uses simple physical controls. Request an itemised quotation for the exact used equipment.
What's in the Box
Your written quotation will identify the exact handset, battery, antenna where separate, compatible charging equipment, mains supply and carry accessories supplied. Only itemised equipment is included.
A straightforward way to add a licensed DMR or analogue handset to a fleet that uses simple physical controls.
Where this model fits
PD405 suits teams that choose channels by selector and do not need a display or keypad on each radio. It supports conventional DMR Tier II and analogue operation; fleet settings still have to match.
Check the exact radio
The related PD415 adds an integrated RFID reader for patrol workflows; PD405 does not have that reader.
Band and fleet matching
A separate VHF 136–174 MHz version also exists; confirm that the offered UHF handset matches your licence. Match the authorised transmit and receive frequencies, DMR or analogue mode, channel settings and any required system or feature licence. A shared model family or frequency band alone does not make two radios interoperable.
Battery and charging
Confirm the battery chemistry, charger, mains supply and antenna together. The written used offer will itemise them.
Licence and programming
Tell us whether you already hold a UK Ofcom licence, need a new application assessed, or plan to use the radio outside the UK. Existing fleet details can be reviewed privately. Any agreed programming, licence assistance or extra charge will be itemised in the quotation. A UK licence does not authorise operation abroad.
Condition, kit and quotation
Condition: Used. Cosmetic grade, testing, battery condition and supplied equipment will be confirmed for the sourced offer. Warranty terms will be confirmed in your written quotation. Request the quantity and setup you need; the written quotation will itemise the included parts, price, delivery and any agreed services. Payment follows the agreed quotation by bank transfer/BACS.
Compare the alternatives
PD405 has a screen-free layout; consider PD365 when pocket format and a small display matter more.
Plan your used-radio purchase
Compare used Hytera radios, read the fleet compatibility guide and battery and charger guide, then see how buying by written quotation works.
