Construction sites destroy ordinary kit, so these radios are built for dust, drops, rain and noise, with the range to cover a multi-storey build or a sprawling groundworks site. Look for an IP67 or IP68 rating, all-shift battery and loud, noise-cancelling audio, and choose UHF to get through concrete and steel.
Most site radios need an Ofcom Business Radio licence, which we arrange and programme; areas handling fuel or flammables need an intrinsically safe ATEX radio. Read more
