Programming & Cables

Programming cables and software let you or our team set channels exactly as your Ofcom licence allows, clone a fleet to match, and update settings as your operation changes. It is the difference between radios that just work and radios that work the way you need.

Cables are model-specific; we programme every radio before it ships, but supply cables if you want to manage it in-house. Browse two way radios or all radio accessories.

Radio programming FAQs

Do I need to programme radios myself?

No — we programme every radio to your channels before it ships. Cables and software are for teams who want to make changes in-house afterwards.

Can I copy settings across a whole fleet?

Yes. Cloning writes one radio's configuration to the rest, which is how you keep a fleet on identical channels with no manual entry.

Are programming cables model-specific?

Yes. The connector and the software both differ by model, so a cable for one radio rarely works on another.

Can I set any frequency I like?

No. Licensed radios must be programmed to the frequencies your Ofcom licence assigns. Programming outside them is not legal, and we set radios to your licence before dispatch.
