The SC580 is a connected body-worn camera for local recording and compatible remote video workflows. It combines a 2-inch display, replaceable battery and LTE/Wi-Fi connectivity. Choose the storage capacity and infrared or starlight hardware version that match the intended use.

Select one complete hardware version

The four reference configurations are SC580-32-IR, SC580-64-IR, SC580-32-SL and SC580-64-SL. IR denotes infrared and SL denotes starlight hardware. These are different configurations; selecting one does not include both low-light systems. The reference RRP starts with the 32 GB infrared model, and the selector identifies the additional amount for the other versions.

Local recording and live operations

Local video recording supports up to 1080p at 30 frames per second. Live streaming, remote communication and group PTT require a compatible configured platform, appropriate account and a working LTE mobile-data or Wi-Fi connection. The camera equipment price includes no platform subscription, SIM or data allowance. A SIM alone is not a dispatch or evidence-management system.

Battery and field setup

The supplied BP3201 is a 3,200 mAh lithium-polymer battery. The manufacturer's reference recording endurance is 10 hours at 720p/30 fps; actual endurance changes with resolution, streaming, radio use, screen settings and battery condition. Position and test the BC47 clip on the intended clothing so the camera view and controls remain usable. Extra docks and mounting accessories are separate.

Choose the right recording workflow

Compare GC550 when a smaller local-recording camera with USB file transfer meets the requirement. SC580 is the connected alternative, with more infrastructure to plan. Set access permissions, secure transfer, retention and recording procedures for the organisation; device encryption or a body-camera label does not by itself establish legal compliance or guarantee admissibility of footage.
