The GC550 is a compact body-worn camera for local video, audio and photo recording. Its sliding recording switch, 2-inch display and removable battery suit staff who need a small wearable recorder. This offer covers the UK infrared 32 GB and 64 GB configurations.

Choose the storage configuration

The 32 GB infrared UK model is GC550-32-IR-UK; the 64 GB infrared UK model is GC550-64-IR-UK. Select the required capacity for the quote. Recording time depends on resolution, bitrate, audio, event duration and retention policy; storage capacity is not a guaranteed number of shifts.

Recording and wearable controls

The GC550 records up to 1440p at 30 frames per second, with lower-resolution modes available. The physical sliding switch gives a tactile recording control, while the 2-inch screen supports status and review. Its supplied swivel clip allows the camera angle to be adjusted for the wearing position. Check the field of view on the actual uniform or mounting position before deployment.

Charging and managing files

The removable BP2101 battery is rated 2,100 mAh. USB Type-C provides the stated cable connection for charging and file handling. Plan authorised access, secure transfer, retention and deletion procedures for the recordings. A camera by itself does not establish a compliant recording policy or an evidence-management service; no SmartMDM licence or management software subscription is included.

Compare local recording with a connected camera

Choose GC550 when compact local recording and subsequent file transfer meet the requirement. Compare SC580 for a connected body camera with LTE/Wi-Fi functions and its separate platform and network requirements. The GC550 does not acquire those live-streaming functions through a software option, and chargers and mounts must be matched to the exact camera.
