Hytera vs Motorola Radios: HP705, HP785 and R7 FKP Compared
The Hytera HP705 and HP785 take different approaches to the front panel. The HP705 has focused physical controls and a small status display; the HP785 adds a larger colour display and numeric keypad. Motorola's R7 FKP Capable provides another full-keypad option. Choose around the work each user needs to do and the system the radios must join.
The HP705 and HP785 base NC offers are non-GPS, non-Bluetooth and supplied without a charging set. The GPS Version option selects the GPS/Bluetooth hardware variant. For one desktop charging position, use CH10L30 with PS1044; these are separate unless the charging setup is selected.

Identify the exact R7 configuration
The R7 FKP Capable UHF configuration is MPN MDH06RDN9WA2AN and covers 400–527 MHz. This exact configuration lists Bluetooth, Wi-Fi and GNSS. The listing does not state that programming, applications or feature licences are included, so include any required items in the configuration request.
The R7 NKP Capable is a separate non-keypad option. Use its own product configuration when choosing a simpler front panel.
Make a like-for-like decision
List the exact radios already in use, their frequency bands, operating mode and channel plan, then identify the battery, charger, aerial and audio accessories for each proposed model. Itemise supplied equipment, spares, programming and any service or licence charges in the enquiry. A shared brand, similar keypad or the word digital does not establish compatibility.
